Long time I was planning to have a cool VOIP on my cell phone. I again switched to a SmartPhone from my Sony Ericsson k750i which was a good phone to listen MP3 and a smart camera phone. However I was used to the O2 for an year and was expecting better features than these. I have got an HTC s710 which is powered with “Windows Mobile 6“. Ohh.. yes.. before taking this decision I checked the Indian market for a Linux phone of course.. but the only good Linux phone is Motorola’s MotoMing which is a TouchScreen phone. It was my bad experience of using the touch screen as I was really pi$$ed of typing an SMS or dialing anyone using the Touch Screen. So I was not really interested in  anymore touch screen even if its powered with the Linux OS.

So the better option was to get an HTC s710. The first thing I did is install the “F-secure” antivirus to secure my smarphone from the Viruses. The next thing was of course installing Putty. ooppsss.. coming back to the topic.. I got the Fring on my phone which connects me to the Voip servises of MSN, gTalk, Skype any personal SIP settings and Twitter. I am currently connected to the Fring with my gTalk ID. I still have to test the Fring with ‘ameyapandit.com’. Anyway.. the gTalk on Fring is an excellent experience. The sound is crystal clear. Of course I am testing this on the WIFI network. I am doubtful about the quality on the GPRS.
