Never forget your pen drive
Posted by Ameya on January 2nd, 2008 filed in Security, Tips & TrixNever leave the office without your drive again, with a simple popup reminder that triggers at logoff.
Here’s how:
1. Save this one-line VB script to C:\WINDOWS\System32\GroupPolicy\User\Scripts\Logoff on Windows XP.
NOTE: For security reasons I have saved the VBS file as TXT file. You are supposed to save this file as thumb-drive-reminder.vbs
2. From the Run box (Start -> Run), type gpedit.msc and hit Enter.
3. In User Configuration -> Windows Settings -> Logoff, press the Add Script button and select the thumb-drive-reminder.vbs file.
