Ameya is a Linux administrator currently working with Geodesic in Mumbai having good experience in Linux and open source technology. Ameya completed his graduation from a Night college while working with a computer peripherals shop. He developed his interest in Linux during the curriculum of web development with NIIT. Ameya has experience working with companies like Magnet Technologies, Citigroup Information Technology, Reliance, on various technologies. He has actively participated in GNUnify 2007, an Open Source event organized by Symbiosis Inst of Computer Science and research sharing his knowledge on Asterisk.

Personally Ameya is interested in Photography and traveling. He was active participant of Mumbai Photo Marathon 2007. Visit the Gallery for some recent pictures by him.
